Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

AskForSeniors.com is built for seniors, their families, and caregivers. Accessibility is central to that purpose, not an afterthought. We are committed to meeting Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across the entire site, and we aim higher — targeting Level AAA on typography, color contrast, and cognitive criteria, the areas that matter most to our audience.

Standards we follow

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA — our minimum standard across all pages and tools.
  • WCAG 2.1 Level AAA — our target for text size, color contrast, and plain-language content.
  • Section 508 alignment for structure, labels, and keyboard operation.

Assistive technology we support

We design and test toward compatibility with:

  • Screen readers: VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), NVDA (Windows), and TalkBack (Android).
  • Browsers: current and prior versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
  • Browser zoom from 100% up to 400%.
  • Windows High Contrast mode.
  • Keyboard-only navigation, with no mouse required.

Known limitations

We are actively working to achieve full compliance. If you encounter any barrier, please contact us. We treat every report as a priority and use it to improve the site for everyone.
